Special Fundraising Announcement - Emily Goss and Family

The NW Senior Women’s Bellies will be hosting the Port Moody Grizzlies at 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 14 at Queens Park Arena. The game will also be acting as a fundraiser for Emily Goss and her family, who are currently still in London England attempting to get her home when she is able.The game will feature a 50/50 Draw, raffle tickets for many awesome donated baskets,  a toonie toss and a raffle for a team autographed Vancouver Warriors jersey.

Emily is a member of the Senior Women’s Bellies, having played lacrosse with many of these ladies since she was just a young girl. She plays every game with a smile on her face, fierce determination and an undying support for her teammates.

Now our Emily needs our support and we are going to do just that.

Emily was hit by a drunk driver on June 16, 2019 while visiting friends in London, England. She has been in the hospital there ever since the accident.

The City of New Westminsterwill be hosting a BBQ outside of the arena starting at 6 pm and going until the end of the second period.
