Bellies Have 8 Graduating Juniors Selected in WLA Draft

The Western Lacrosse Association held their annual draft of BCJALL graduating juniors this past January 31st, and held at the Langley Events Center. The draft was streamed live, with the Junior Bellies being very prominent in having 8 players selected who were on the Bellies’ roster in 2022, in both the 'Protected Pick' category and the regular 5 Round Draft.

The NW Sr. Bellies, with their two Protected picks took Noah Armitage and Ben Stewart. 

Another Jr. Bellies stalwart, Drew Andre ,was a Protected pick of the Maple Ridge Burrards.

Next to be taken in the Regular Rounds were:

Round 1: 

# 7 Nikhal Dhandwar – Langley Thunder

Round 2: 

#5 Evan Pattison – Nanaimo Timbermen

#7 Keegan Melenychuk – Burnaby Lakers

Round 4:

#5 Andrew Bishop – Nanaimo Timbermen
