Bellies Drop Game to Lakers: Playoff Push In Danger

The NW Jr. Bellies dropped yet another crucial game in their chase for an elusive BCJALL playoff berth. This time the visiting Burnaby Lakers rode the strength of nine 2^nd period goals to take a 12-9 victory over the home team. This pushed the Bellies further back in the chase for one of 6 playoff spots, with the shortened regular season rapidly coming to its conclusion. The Bellies travel to Nanaimo Saturday June 11^th and then are back at it this coming Wednesday June 15^th, against the Coquitlam Adanacs at the Coquitlam Rec Center. Game time 7:30 pm.
