NEW WESTMINSTER SALMONBELLIES
PRIDE & TRADITION
The 'Bellies continued their winning ways on Tuesday night, with an 11-5 win over rival Coquitlam Adanacs. The 'Bellies jumped out to an 6-1 first period lead enroute to the victory. Coquitlam mounted a comeback in the second period, but two key goals by Luke Gillespie and some tenacious defensive and loose ball work by Reese Robinson kept the visitors at bay. Mr Mikes Offensive Player of the Game, Johnny Pearson lead the Bellies with 3 goals, while goaltender Rocky Bowman won Mr Mikes Defensive Player of the Game.
