BELLIES COME UP SHORT AGAINST ADANACS

BELLIES DROP 2^ND GAME IN A ROW TO THE JR. ADANACS

Your NW Jr. Bellies suffered their 2^nd loss in a row this young BCJALL season, falling to the powerful Coquitlam Adanacs at Queens Park Arena.

The Bellies held their own leading at one point until midway through the 2^nd period when the Adanacs outscored them 7-1 to end the game.

Goal scorers for the Bellies were Ezrah Glanville with a pair of goals and assists. Single markers went to Simon Poole, Drew Andre, Jake Young and Reid Heinz MacDonald.

Keegan Melnychuk continued his solid goalkeeping making 46 saves on the night. Melnychuk has consistently held his team in the games and the added offensive players should make life easier for him and the whole team.

The good news for the Bellies is that 5 top line performers will be returning to the lineup very soon. Andrew Bishop, Axel Sanderson, Halen Rasmussen, Ben Stewart, Austin Ducommun and Daniel Newton will all be back in the lineup soon. The addition of those solid starters will go a long way to get the Bellies ship back on course.
